Creating a Stop on the Stops Tab Using an Address

There are two ways to create a stop from the stops tab.

One option is to create a stop using an address.  This is recommended for stops where you have a specific address (i.e: a daycare center or afterschool programs).

1.      To create stop using an address, click this icon:

2.      The “New Stop” Window will open. You will need to fill out a few fields in order to create the stop.

Stop Name: If you do not put anything in this field, the system will default to the address as the stop name. You can name the stop anything. The name does not have to be the address.

Stop Address: This is the actual location of the stop. You will need to put in the address, city, state, and zip for the system to geocode the stop correctly.

Geocode (optional): You can check that the system geocodes the stop correctly before you save. To do this, click the geocode bar to turn it dark blue. Then, click the refresh icon next to the blank Longitude and Latitude fields.

5. If you are satisfied with where Travel Tracker Routing geocoded the stop, click "Save" at the top of the screen.

6. If you are not satisfied with where Travel Tracker Routing geocoded the stop, you can change its location by using this button:

Selecting this option will allow you to change the location of the stop by clicking on the map. Once you are happy with the location of the stop, click “save.”
