Loading PTFs on the AS400

 

Type go ptf on the command line

Choose option 8

 

Fill in the blanks as shown (be sure and choose N for IPL) – take the other defaults as well.

Press Enter.

 

If there is more than 1 CD, a prompt will appear

View QSYSOPR messages – load next CD

 

Type DSPMSG QSYSOPR

Take option G – press Enter.

 

Messages will appear for each of the CDs.
