Short Cut to add or remove a Subtotal within a Pivot Table

  1. Example - if you wish to remove Total line from the Object column





  1. Double Click on the column heading that you wish to remove a subtotal.   The Field Settings option will display.




  1. If Automatic is selected, click on the None option to remove the subtotal from the view.




  1. The Object column will display only one line of totals.



  1. If you wish to add the subtotal in a column, simply select the Automatic option to show columns with subtotals.
